Buttery Pecan Snowball Cookies

ingredients :

  • two pieces of soft butter
  • half + 1 c. powdered sugar divided
  • two tsp. vanilla extract
  • a pinch of salt
  • 2 ¼ C. All-Purpose Flour
  • one C. Finely chopped pecans

directions :

Heat the oven to three hundred fifty degrees.
Add butter, half cup icing sugar, vanilla extract, salt, and flour to a mixing bowl. Mix until a smooth paste is formed.
Fold chopped pecans into dough mixture.
Wet your hands and shape the dough into thirty six equal-sized balls of dough.
Place dough balls on a baking tray lined with parchment, and bake for 12 minutes.
Leave the cookies to cool completely.
Put the cup of powdered sugar in a flat bowl.
Roll the biscuits in powdered sugar and serve.
