Beef Stroganoff Recipe


  • 700g Beef (fillet)
  • 25cl White wine
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 pinches Thyme
  • 250g button mushrooms,
  • 3 tbsp. Paprika coffee
  • 10g Powdered sugar
  • 20cl thick fresh cream
  • 3 tbsp. Mustard
  • 3 tbsp. tablespoon Tomato paste
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Preparation steps

Cut the beef into strips.
In bowl, putting beef, bay leaf, onion, thyme, 1 tsp of paprika, salt, pepper & wine.
Leave to marinate for 1 hour, stir occasionally.
Collect meat on one plate & onions on another.
Reserving marinade juice.
In saucepan, heat 2 tsp of olive oil then brown meat for 2 min. Removing it & reserve.
Browning onions also mushrooms on heat with the rest paprika and sugar.
When mushrooms have reduced, adding marinade juice. Letting simmer for 5 mn.
Adding tomato puree, mustard also cream. Let simmer on low heat for 5 min.
Adjust seasoning.
Putting meat in sauce & simmer again for 5 min
